Hausfeld LLP has a long tradition of bringing complex International and domestic human rights cases as seen in the Khulumani and German Labour camps cases. We work closely with survivor groups, NGO’s, world experts and academics, and local practitioners in multidisciplinary teams. We bring them together to combine strengths on creative ways to apply the law and bring attention to an issue.
Ingrid Gubbay’s work on keeping multinational corporations accountable for their operations abroad both at the UN level, and in a non US context, includes, building expertise in the climate change area. We have advised heads of State on their prospects in bringing historic mass tort claims, and we are currently liaising with representatives from affected States on their prospects in environmental claims involving future weather changes. In addition Ingrid has expertise and consummate interest in bringing actions involving domestic and international human rights and gender issues.
